We have 7 Panasonic KX-T7667's and 1 KX-T7630...On all of our extensions, when we pick up the handset, the intercom button lights up and we get dial tone..except for one of the extensions, on that particular one we have to press intercom manually. Does anyone know what the feature is called and how to prgram it?

This is how I did it:
1. Press the 'Program' button 2. Then dial ** (star, star) 3. Enter the password (usually 1234) 4. Press 'Next' until you get to 'Ext Name' 5. Press 'Enter' 6. You will need to know the Extension Number of you phone, when you find out enter it (eg: 104 or whatever yours is) 7. Press 'Clear' to get rid of the old name then start entering the new name via the number keys. Note: If you keep cycling through the letter on each number you can get to lowercase or uppercase letters. 8. Press 'Enter' then you are all done... pick and hang up the handset.

SOURCE: Cannot get dial tone on KX-T7730. Intercom feature

In a TA series system, the lines have to appear on the phone. Press PROGRAM and the CO buttons. Are they assigned? If they are, then you probably have a Class Of Service or Electronic Station Lock issue. Both of them would prevent the phone from getting an outside line.

How do I return my Panasonic KX-T7630 to its default settings. I cannot get it to stop forwarding calls to my mobile

Based on the documentation for the KX-T76XX phones, you can cancel the Call Forwarding by picking up the handset of your KX-T7630. Then press the FWD/DND button. Next press 0 to cancel all call forwarding. See page 17 of the manual here: https://www.ask-tsc.com/pdf/KX-T76xx.pdf . (You can also select to cancel call forwarding for external or internal incoming calls separately, if needed.)

If pressing 0 does not work, did you lock the extension? See page 18 for information on unlocking the extension. If that fails, contact your phone system administration. As far as I know, there is no global reset option available to users of an extension.

I hope this helps.

Two questions: We have Panasonic KX-T7630 model How do I change/delete numbers to the personal speed dial numbers. Second, one of our phones has two buttons on the right lit up in Red like there are no...

If you mean the 10 number stored in 00-09, from the phone, pick up the handset (or press intercom) and dial *30 00-09 9 plus the number and # You'll hear a confirming tone. That stores the number. To dial, you press Autodial *00-09 and it dials the number.

What's under the buttons? Press PROG and the button and it will show what's there. Probably a digital station that isn't there. Press 2 and STORE and you'll clear the button.

How do I turn the intercom off at an individual handset?

Do you mean intercom or paging? You can turn off paging by setting the Paging Deny code. From the intercom dial *7211 with 10 being the allow code. As far as the intercom, onlly Do Not Disturb (*7121) will fix that (as always change the 1 to 0 to allow). The DND light will light solid and when you press the button, the display will give you information as to what is set.

How do I use the intercom function on a KX-T7731 phone??

Panasonic analog phones plug into analog KSU's and have extension numbers beginning with 101. In additon, you can dial 0 to reach the phone programmed as Operator, and it's usually extension 101.

With the intercom dial tone (press INTERCOM or pick up the handset or press SP PHONE) you can start dialing codes defined in your number plan. You can also program left side buttons to monitor are directly select other extensions or dial codes to page all idle speakers in a 77xx phone.

Note this is specific to TA series systems, but the operation is similar in all Panasonic models.

When i push the intercom then message button to retrieve messages it tells me invalid across the screen

while the handset is hung up (without pressing the intercom button) press the "MESSAGE" button, on the display it should show ~why~ the message light is on (cause it is possible someone tried to intercom you, then hit the wrong button) after that you can turn off your light by pressing:
1) INTERCOM
2) 700
3) *your extension #*

it is possible that the extension that turned on your message light is no longer in service, making it an invalid extension

Everytime that anyone calls the receptionist, her line is busy, How do I correct this issue? Thank you . Panasonic KX-T7630

A couple of ideas. Have the receptionist call you and verify that they are really at the extension you're calling. Then make sure you turn on Call Waiting Intercom on that phone. From the intercom on the reception phone, dial *7311 for Intercom and *7321 for Outside lines.
Now the phone will soft ring and visual indication when you get a second call if you're phone is busy.

If you've mapped a button to ring the receptionist and it's not working, you may have unprogrammed the button. That's reprogrammed by PROGRAM, the button and 1 plus the extrension (usually 101) and STORE or ENTER to save. PROGRAM exits programming.

Panasonic kxt7630 button assignment

I've never heard of the ability to reassign an intercom button as it's a fixed feature, but maybe so. Start by assigning the lower left phone button back to CO1 and let's see what happens. WIthout picking up the handset, press PROG the button and dial 0+01 STORE or ENTER.
Pick up the handset and drop it back in the cradle to exit programming.

Did that work? Making button 1 into CO1 will drop the programming from the intercom button and it should default back to intercom.

Can you tell me how to get out of SP-PHONE which has a red light

Under my Intercom light I have a green light (7731,7735). I'm not sure why yours is red, but here are a couple of things to try.

Press "1" on the keypad without picking up the handset. That turns off Background music and the display will say BGM On or Off.

Press Intercom or pick up the handset and dial 790. That's the extension reset code.

If neither one of these work, post back with the model number of the phone system cabinet the phones are plugged into. It's probably a Panasonic TA-624/824 but there's a chance yours is different.
