Rpc server is unavailable when installing printer

Hi,
According to the error message, I assume that the spooler service cannot find out the printer on the network.
You may set the startup type of Printer Spooler service to Manual or Delayed Start for a test.
You could go to Customer support- just dial +1(800)243-0051 Toll Free.

Right click the icon of your western digital Drive (It should be F:/ or something)

you need admin\administrator rights to change anything on vista. it is suppose to be more secured than Windows XP.
administrator /user is power user rights, which don't have rights to change system setting, but you do have rights to install certain program.

Setting your profile to administrator level on windows XP

hi rclang...

you will have to log in to windows as the computer administrator, or with an already existing profile that is set with admin permissions this will enable you to get into the user settings and change the permissions on your own profile. you do this in the control panel user settings.

there must be other users on your computer, as the primary account always has admin privileges, if you haven't modified them in any way. once you've changed your permissions, just log off the admin profile and into your own... you should now be able to install, uninstall, change settings etc.

let me know if you need more guidance on how to do this...
