For a time you had to really push the door to close it, now when you close it, the machine dosnt know it is closed so it wont start.
Hello.
TOOLS NEED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM
(A) Screwdriver, Petroleum jelly.
1 Inspect the screws on the door hinges. If they are loose and the door is hanging unevenly, the door will not latch properly.
2 Prop the door up by sliding a magazine under it. Move the door in the hinges until it is correctly aligned. Tighten down the screws with a screwdriver.
3 Check the screws on the strike plate on the door jamb if the door still won't latch. Tighten the screws on the strike plate then try closing the door.
4 Inspect the inside of the strike plate hole for obstructions, such as dirt and debris, that prevent the latch from inserting properly.
5 Place a bead of petroleum jelly on the latch. Turn the handle to retract the latch. Close the door and let go of the handle. Turn the handle again to retract the latch and inspect the mark made by the jelly. Move the strike plate to accommodate for the overlap of the latch. Try closing the door again. Adjust as necessary.
Thanks.
