I would recommend never to edit any pictures on the camera. First copy all files to a hard drive, then do your editing. You can delete, that is okay.
The problem which can happen on cameras trying to edit, is possible corruption.
Avoid problems by copying to a computer, then edit with your favorite editor or other kind of program.

I recorded movie accidently in time lapse mode which is playing it in fast forward mode. I need to convert it back to normal mode. Is there a way to do this? I am using Cannon SD1100

Sorry, it can't be done. The time-lapse mode records fewer images than normal video. Imagine taking one picture every hour out your window. From this collection of pictures you can't see anything that went on between the pictures. It's the same thing here.

I just dropped my Canon SD750 and now it won't turn on. Is there a reset button?....or am I out of luck?

I had a Cannon EasyShare CX7000 many years ago, had the same problem exactly, Canon cameras are not that durable when it comes to dropping it, but I have a Cannon Powershot SD1000 and I have dropped it numerous times and it still functions like it's new. three words REPLACE YOUR CAMERA. oh, and there is no reset button, you are out of luck

Cannon SD 750 - when i try to take a picture a black screen appe

Think that you accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.

Cannon lenses

All canon EF lenses (and compatibles e.g. Sigma EX) can be used with both analog and digital  EOS-bodies. Depending on the sensor size (usually smaller than a 35 mm negative) a crop-factor due to the smaller field of view must be considered.  Example: Canon EF 50mm/1.8 lens used on a digital EOS (40D, crop factor 1.6) equals a 80mm lens (50mm x 1.6) compared to analog cameras using 35mm film. Some digital EOS-models can also use EF-S lens-series.
