I deleted picture from my camera once i transferred them onto my computer, but i wanted to put a few back onto it. How could i copy the pictures back onto my camera?
I put my pictures onto my computer, that were on my camera. It erased all of my pictures that i had copied onto the computer. I would like to get them back onto my camera

Then TAG the pictures with as many tags possible. Up to 10
Make new tags.
then Protect and Favourite the pictures videos etc.
Then transfer again to your "file" on computer. and check for the numbers are continius. Delete the dupl;icates that show with the 2 zeros "00"

Best way is to only delete them 1 by one. Another is to transfer files (pictures) to your computer delete the ones you don't want, format your card and then put the ones you want to keep on your camera back. You can't delete just a few pictures. I carry 3 memory cards. one just has the pictures I want to show people. I load that card from my computer. The other 2 are like great big rolls of film that let me take lots and lots of pictures without the worry of running out of film. I transfer the pictures I want to show people on my camera to the third one and keep the other 2 erased. Most of my pictures are only on my computer and backed up on DVD's.
I've just found a fix for this problem after fighting it myself for a week. Don't use the transfer window that Easyshare gives you when you connect your camera (or which is also available under the tools/cameras/viewers dropdown menu).
Cancel this window if it comes up. Then select "add pictures" from the file dropdown menu (as if you were going to add pictures from your hard-drive to the easyshare gallery). The camera will appear in the folder list. Open the m1063 folder, select the pictures you want (or select all) then click the "add pictures" button.

You should just transfer the pictures to your computer (Then back to the card if you want). I don't think there is a copy to card function. However, internal memory and card memory are separate, so there's no risk of overwriting them, either. Just don't delete them.
Set the camera to MTP instead of PTP in the settings menu on the camera. This will allow it to operate as a USB device instead of only interacting with the Nikon software.
Specifically...
Hit menu on the camera, go to the setup menu, and select USB and then make sure it's
set to "Mass Storage" and not "PTP". Then connect the camera.
Hey roboticgirl, What is most likely causing this are the drivers that run the included software have either been accidentally deleted or they need to be updated. I would reinstall the software that came with the camera, or you could purchase a card reader and upload your pictures to your computer that way which should not require any drivers other than the ones in your operating system. Memory card error is common problems in various sd cards and cf cards. I took a closer look at my little SD memory card. It has a sliding lock on it to protect data. Transfer the folder to your computer, along with any other pictures you want to save. To do this use a card reader, not the camera. Then click and drag the folder onto your desktop. After you will format the card using your camera (press menu then under the setup tab [yellow colored]) - this will delete all the pictures on your card so make sure they transfered onto your computer. Take a random picture on the camera to generate a new folder. If you want to put the pictures back onto the card so you can view them with the camera (not necessary), you should put the card back into the card reader, then open the dcim folder. you will see a folder which says Canon###, copy that name and make sure it matches the name of the folder you previously copied onto your desktop. click and drag the folder back onto the memory card to replace the existing folder in there (the random picture you took will be over written, so if you liked it transfer it first). That should have covered it...i know i made this very wordy, sorry, but i'm used to explaining these things to my parents who don't even know how to turn on their camera.
