This says it is easy to set up, but there is a Fixya post that says there are a reset button in both units. In mine, I have to put a new battery in the main unit and then remove and replace the button in the remote unit.
Anon, replace battery with a good strong AA Energizer or Duracell Alkaline not a cheap battery, make sure battery contact point in clock are clean and no corrosion. If this does correct the problem, the clock mechanism is probably just wearing out from age which is normal unless it is digital. Read through the links and learn how some time mechanisms can be made to work properly again. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

I actually have the same problem with an older model Brookstone weather station with remote temperature gauge. The time/date settings do not allow you to set time zone and eventually the clock syncs to PST.... ANY HELP HERE?
