What model Uniden phone?

Hi Ted,
I'm looking for a solution to a similar problem. I found this adapter that might help you: <http://www.theheadsetbuddy.com/pc-computer-headset-to-uniden-phone-adapter/>I can't vouch for it first-hand since I haven't used it but am about to purchase it. It looks like you should be able to use a headset or separate headphones and microphone with it.

I haven't set up Skype before, but it seems quite reasonable that if the Sound control panel is set to use the external microphone, that would work. Have you checked to see if the sound input is set to an internal microphone built into the laptop, or a line-level input? That could be your problem, especially if no such microphone is present.

I guess you haven't still got the paperwork that came with the saw. Try Googling Husqvana, and then go to their Maintenance page, or their Support page. Or you may be able to ask the salesman at the store where you bought it. If you can do this, it's probably the best way to go, because they will want to keep a customer happy,

No, that is an outrageous price if you are referring to the control arm bushing. That bushing costs around $65 at a VW dealer and can be bought aftermarket for as little as $15. Takes one hour to replace. So it should cost around $150 at the dealer. $1200 is outrageous.

The only solution I have found is using Remote Desktop Connection and running the Uniden application. On my Iphone I found that using Pocket Cloud Remote Desktop (RDP Itunes download application) works best. You must also download a free application named "Pocket Cloud Companion" on the PC your Uniden software is running. Pocket Cloud Companion must be running for connection to made through 3G, Edge or Wifi networks. Also, you have to configure your remote connections by using your PC's IP address rather then the name of your pc, particularly if making connection on 3G network.

delete all cache files and recent history in Internet explorer
then try logging into your skype account online if you can you have a method for contacting people why you are away

I found the answer - I have two Skype DUal phones - I just disconnected from the mains power supply and then reconnected - FIXED - Enjoy

I had the same problem, but good thing I bought three of them. The first one worked right out of the box, the second one wouldn't come up for about two days and the third one took several days before it would turn itself on. My opinion is that the batteries are really flat from being on the shelf for so long before they are sold and have "memorized" that condition.

I went to the Uniden site and their FAQ don't really address much about this product, wish they would expand it somewhat.

Good luck and keep on trying to charge the batteries.
