SOURCE: 'Remove the Tape' message

I've now had the same problem. With no possible way of fixing. This will be the THIRD time i'll have to send this BASTARD camera away. First Time: Sent away under warranty for malfuncting DV connection. Took forever to get back. Second Time: Sent Away under extended warranty (and I paid for postage and handling this time) because Cartridge/tape deck would not retract. Ended up that the tape head motor servo was burnt out. And I don't treat this camera badly at all. I've tried my best to keep in excellent condition. Now this...

I need help with my G7000 Cannon printer and do not understand the on-line manual. How do I change from the rear paper feed to the front paper cassette?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Canon G7000 printer. Here are the steps to change the paper source from the rear paper feed to the front paper cassette:
  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. Open the paper output tray and the front cover.
  3. Slide out the paper cassette located at the bottom of the printer.
  4. Press the release button on the back of the printer and pull out the paper support.
  5. Slide the paper guides on the cassette to match the size of the paper you're using.
  6. Load the paper into the cassette with the print side facing down and the top edge going in first.
  7. Insert the cassette back into the printer until it clicks into place.
  8. Close the front cover and the paper output tray.
Once you've completed these steps, your printer should automatically detect the paper cassette as the paper source. If you want to switch back to the rear paper feed, simply repeat the process but select the rear paper feed option instead.
I hope this helps! If you continue to have issues, please let me know and I'll try my best to assist you further.

Memorex16-854

To open and remove a stuck cassette from a Memorex 16-854 camcorder, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Locate the cassette compartment on the camcorder. It is usually located on the side or back of the camcorder and is marked with an icon that looks like a cassette.
  2. Open the cassette compartment by pressing the release button or lever.
  3. If the cassette is stuck, you may need to gently wiggle it or use a small tool, such as a pen or paperclip, to gently pry it out of the compartment.
  4. If the cassette is still stuck after trying these steps, you may need to use a little more force to remove it. Be careful not to damage the camcorder or the cassette.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or if you are having trouble removing the stuck cassette from your camcorder, don't hesitate to ask.

Cassette will not load!

I have one doing the same thing. I called Cannon and the told me I would have to send it in for service. Now after reading that about 10 other folks having the same issue, I think Cannon has some issue with the ZR100.

Cannon ZR 60 camcoder Cassette copartment does not open

Loading unit problem is a common mechanical problem in camcorders. To remedy the problem, trained tech need to disassemble the mechanical system around the loading and replace few broken gears (plastics) and adjust it. Repair cost may run close to half of the new camcorder. If you really got to repair this camera for some sentimental reason or for special needs otherwise better to invest the repair charge into a new camcorder.

JVC HR-S9700 TAPE STUCKS, HAVE TO BE PULLED OUT, CASSETTE DOOR REMAIND OPEN,VCR SWITCHES OFF-CAN NOT BE PLAYED AGAIN

Check out the drive that works the unloading and loading operation of your machine. Also check the switch that is activated by the presence of your cassette. If something is wrong with the latter, the tape will not load and unload properly. And under those circumstances your machine will not work.
