try this solution: enter service mode by pressing *(additional function) then2 and 8 together and then again * select copier on screen>function>clear>error>ok. turn off the machine and re-start.if error appears again then there is faulty heater element in fuser unit and u will need a technician.

Replaced toner cartridge in our cannon imagerunner 2230, but it still flashes error and will not reset back to copy mode. thanks

What is the error code that is Flashing??? That will till us what is wrong.... They range from E000 to E900, you guess is as good as mine

Image runner 210s error code E000. What to do?

Your problem in the fuser unit.Check and clean the fuser unit component parts:thermistors,thermofuses,verify the continuity of the heater lamp,and verify the upper and lower fuser roller mechanical.

Hi i have a canon ir2016i. if fails to print and then comes a manassge saying to turn it on and off again with the following code error: E000007.

ther is no reset procedure for e7-00 problem ,you just repalce the fuser film in fusing unit

HAVE CANON IR C6800 WITH THE FOLLOWING ERROR CODE... E000001-00ff

It is a Fuser error code .
Could be a poor connection with the draw connector on fixing feeder unit.
Try shimming all three connectors on the fuser draw side can resolve the issue. Another thing to check is the upper fuser roller for flat spots this can also cause fuser error codes

try to clear in service mode touch Additional funcion key then 2 8 at same time then additional func key again in that order screen should change to service mode then touch copier then function then clear then err then ok then turn off machine using main switch if it wont clear you have a bad fuser

Were the heaters at fault. It is more like a thermister problem. Replace the thermisters, both. And I would also change the thermostat as well. When you are sure thatyou have removed the faulty unit reset by doing the following.. service mode/copier/function/clear/error followed byswitching the machine off and turn on again.

When the machine powers up the E001 error code is displayed but cannot be reset. (Note: The reset procedure for an E001 code is COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR)

Workaround :
In this case, the Main Power Supply PCB Assembly was replaced. The machine was powered up and the E001 code was able to be reset. The part number for the Main Power Supply Assembly is FM2-0260-000.

Remember, if the fixing unit circuitry has an open or a short, the code may not reset. Be sure to confirm the fixing unit wiring and try resetting the code before replacing the Main Power Supply Assembly. Canon USA, Inc. Systems & Technical Support Division 1-800-528-2830
