Need 4 digit security code for LG Vu 920 put in new active sim and it wont do anything w/o security code. phone is refurbished and '0000' or '1234' doesn't work. phone will only accept 4 digits and they have to be numbers only!

1.Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM,then enter *#865625#.

2.Message Displayed: SIM Unlock Process,Select "OK"

3.Select "Unlock SIM",-Select "Network Unlock"-Enter the 16 digit unlock code*-Select "OK"

4.Re-enter the 16 digit unlock code-Select "OK"-Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated.

The 16 digit code used to unlock your phones can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number,and you can get the IMEI number through keying in the following: *#06#.

this is what happens to my brother .so your phone wont charge.its not the phone its the charger the charger is somtimes acting stupid and u have to put it in the right place to charge. just think of getting a new charger

10 :you will see a message Enter SP Lock. Enter SP Code.

1:Switch ON your phone with an allowed SIM card

3:Press CALL.

How to Unlock LG KG800 Chocolate Without a Code (not reliable):

1:Insert SIM from the network that it is locked to.
2:Turn on phone.
3:On home Screen, slide up phone.
4:Type 2945#*#
5:ENG. Mode menu should appear.
6:Go Down to Factory Reset. Select it. May take a few minutes to reset!
7:This will reset the phone back to before the phone was locked to a network.
8:The phone will automatically restart (the network logo at start up will not change).
9:Now insert any SIM card and the phone should turn on normally
10:The phone is now unlocked and you can customize the setting as you like

On the AT&T Network, to unlock the LG Vu or CU920, it’s pretty simple:
Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM
Enter *#865625# then the 16 digit unlock code*
Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
Phone may automatically reboot

*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

Call your provider and follow the steps they give you.

Ok this is the only way i know how to do it, i have had a phone lock before and all you have to do is call the manufactor of the phone and get a unlock code..

Take it to the cellular store they will reset it to factory settings. That will unlock it. It will also erase any data on the phone. You can also try the last 4 digits of the # the phone was hooke up on.
