I opened it up to change the batteries. Eneleoof batteries are a tight fit and they wouldn't come out. Opened the other end in order to poke them out from the other end. The bulb assembly came and I and can't for the life of me get it back in. From the battery, it doesn't go in deep enough (batteries dont fit. From the lens end, it sticks out too far. I can fix just about anything and this really simple looking thing is driving me nuts. I tried pressure from either end but it won't get past the ring that is milled inside. Photos attached.

Clarify my own post. Photos are not attached and I can't add them. Clicked on next and was asked to register. Did not get a chance to add photos because "add photo" button was gone. Embarassing typos. Can't edit. Hope you get the point. Reasonable amount of pressure from either end is not enough pressure to get the LED bulb assembly seated.

I over heated, the serpentine belt snapped. Opened the hood to find steam rapidly coming out of both the antifreeze and out of the engine right by the head gasket. It wasn't smoke not blue or black jus

Perform a compression test on your cylinders. One unfortunate result of overheating is the blown head gasket. Without compression your motor will not run. Tester are not super expensive or some stores will lend tools.

Safety bar disconnected

are you talking about the handle or the dead man lever? the safety lever usually fits into two holes in the upper handle and pivots up to meet top handle bar for operation. this pulls a cable tight allowing mower to run. Make sure main handle is up and tight then try to fit one end on lever into one hole and then slightly bend other end to fit into opposite hole.

The 4775 unit seems to take a charge but it does not run? It's making a light buzzing sound? I've opened the unit, checked the batteries and they seem fine?

If the unit is more than a year old, the batteries may well be dead...you would need a tester to measure the charge in the batteries. It's cheap to change them.
The shaver is easy to open:
http://johnfixesstuff.blogspot.ca/2013/02/how-to-replace-batteries-in-braun-4775.html
I used 2 garden variety Eveready 2450 mAh NiMH rechargeables from Super Store...NiMH because I had them on hand.
They're a tad short, so I inserted some folded aluminum paper on the Negative ends to take up the slack...done.
The batteries fit solidly in place.
Shaver worked immediately, and is behaving normally while plugged in to recharge (green LED steadily lit as it should be).
We'll see how the NiMH batteries do in the NiCad charger. I can always replace these batteries with NiCad's.

1998 vw jetta tdi did not shut off

The air plate is not shutting off the air to the intake manifold or you are getting oil into the intake. Check the flap on the end of the intake where the black boot connects to it. You could have a vacuum leak or electronic issue not sur with out looking at it.

My 1999 Toyota 4 Runner wouldn't start recently

You either have a defective battery or the battery cable or cables have acid intrusion that has "wicked" inside the cable and this causes a bad connection, the only fix is to replace the cable or cables, this problem is mostly limited to the positive battery cable because of the current flow direction. So 1st have the battery tested and see what it shows, almost any of the many discount auto parts stores will test the battery for free.

I locked my keys in my Hybrid Highlander and tried to use my husband's keyless entry fob to open and it wouldn't open. Is this happening because of a security situation. I can't believe the...

Lady,
Take a screwdriver and a foot rule. With the screwdriver remove the driver side plastic moulding that holds the window pane straight. Jus put the screwdriver blade under the moulding and press downwards so tha the moulding moves upwards. When the moulding is out, insert the foot rule or any thing hard and flat and thin between the glass and the door frame inline with the lock. When you feel resistance, press harder and you will hear a click. The lock has opened. Remove the keys and replace the moulding. It is press fitted. Press it till you hear a number of clicks. I have seen cops do it in LA while towing away locked cars.

I recently put a heavy breather on my 04 dyna. while doing so I was unable to tighten the back plate bolts all the way because the 3/4 socket would not fit in the back plate holes. i hand tightened them...

I wouldn't run the air breather just hand tight. I'd find the proper tool for tightening the backing plate. After all, the backing plate is what holds the carb plugged into the intake manifold.

Good Luck

How do I install the wrist ******** my vivitar vivicam 5022?

The wrist strap hole is on the upper right corner of the outside body when you are looking through the viewfinder. Thread the skinny end (or one end) of the wrist strap through that strap hole. As soon as a little loop (like 1 inch) is poking out the other side, thread the thicker (or the other) end of the strap through that loop that's poking out of the strap hole. pull tight.

PLease "accept" so i get credit!! Thanks, Scott
