How to unpause the printer

The door latch might be broken or loose here.

Pressing the line button should put the printer online.

Go to printer in startup menu select printer, run, pause, reset, clear buffer, or delete printer.

This means that print jobs sent to the printer will not print untill the printer is unpaused. This setting is used mainly for maintenance purposes.

To unpause a printer
1.) Left click Start in the bottom left hand corner of the screen
2.) Left click Control Panel
3.) Now, double-click "Devices and Printers" or "Printers and Faxes"
4.) In the Window you will see your printer, double-click your printer
5.) This screen will show you active print jobs, to pause or unpause the printer click File then click "Pause printing"

Please unplug your printer from the power source, wait for 2 minutes, and plug it in again. This usually solves this issue,

go to control panel -> printers right click on the printer you want and click resume printer

Try to unpause the printer by:

1) Go to control panel->printer and faxes.
2) Right Click on the paused printer
3) Select resume printing.

If the printer icon is displaying in the top right (on the panel) you can right-click to get pause/resume options. Or you could try System > Admin > Printers

In Windows XP, click the start button, then click Printers and Faxes

Double click the printer in question, then in the window that opened, click the Printer menu, then click Pause Printing.
