I have a LG dishwasher, and from the word go I've had problems, I try not to use it any more. it started with flashing LE and bing bing bing all the time, now it flashes HE, I think its time to throw away anything that says LG !!!!

Sounds like a heating problem you might have to change the controls and heater

The LE error code indicates a motor error. This can be caused by a foreign object that is jammed in the impeller, a failed pump motor or a bad electronic control board.

I would check your warranty and see how long the motor has a warrany.

You have a water fill problem.
Make sure the water supply is turned on.
Could be a bad water valve,bad wire bad timer,etc.

Display Condition LE = Motor Error

Possible Cause For Error Occurrence:

Wiring connection is OK?
The Impeller of Washing Pump is locked.
The rotor of Washing Motor is locked.
The Blade is locked.


Remedy:

Check the wiring connection.
Replace the cause of restriction.
Replace the Washing Motor.
Replace the PCB.

Try the following steps:

Unplug the washing machine if you see an LE error on the two-digit display electronic readout. This error indicates a miscommunication between the control panel and wash motor.

Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button on the front panel for five seconds.

Plug the LG dishwasher back in.

Run a cycle. The LE code will clear.

Hello,Sounds like a mechanical obstruction somewhere :->. Possible bad rollers or idler pulley. This could have snapped belt. Need to removed front door panel and lid to get at it. Open the door and rotate the inside drum by hand and see if it moves freely. If it does, you may rollers are probably good. Turn on power and listen for the motor turning on. If you hear a low hum then possible idler pulley or belt issue.LE error on DW - no quick fix here. I heard of wiring issues on the LG's, broken wires, that go from the control panel down to the motor/sensors/etc that result in this error code. I'm not up to speed on the LG dishwashers yet so maybe someone else can contribute.Rich

The LE code means there is a problem with the washer motor. ( Motor error ) Condition : The motor is working abnormally. Possible cause : Wiring connections. The impeller of washing pump is locked. The rotor of washing motor is locked. The blade is locked.

Remedy: Correct wiring connections. Replace the cause of restriction. Replace the washing motor. Replace the PCB.

IE is inlet error, displayed when "Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply"

Possible cause:

• The Water Supply Tap is closed.
• The Water Supply is shut off.
• The Inlet Hose is kinked.
• The Water Pressure is very low.(below 10 psi)
• Inlet Valve is OK?
• The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water.
• The Hall sensor is OK?
• The Impeller of Air Guide is bound.

Remedy:

• Take action on Water Supply device.
• Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 )
• Clean the filter of Inlet Valve.
• Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode.
• Replace the Air Braker.

This new....just call out LG to repair under warenty!!
