Paslode imct 900420 wont spark when pushed into timber. has green flashing light. will spark when apart with fan pulled back about 3 inches and pushed against timber. with fan put back together and pushed against timber no spark.can get spark by pushing switch down that is below fan but not when attempting to fire at all.

Also make sure to put oil where the piston or hammer comes out to drive the nails in that will help keep it running smoothly

Also try and check whether or not the slide where you insert the nails that you push the button down that way it is pushing the nails forward

yes it will did you test the spark, connect the battery to the tool and push the switch does fan come on?? manually active the safety roller and pull trigger while holding the safety roller does it spark, if so the board is bad, but before replacing look for a loose connection by the trigger on the wires that push onto it. they sometimes come loose. Let me know if you need more assistance.
