Oil level is fine as well as gas,and i just changed the air filter. it's not the safety switch under the seat either i checked it also,at this point i'm just confused??

Try starting the mower and engaging the blades. If it also dies then, the problem likely still goes back to the seat switch. They can break, become loose or otherwise fail. Check and clean the switch for the seat again (compressed air will work well for this). Make a temporary jumper to test the switch and jump it out, then try to motorvate again. All of the safety interlocks are tied to the seat switch. Replace the switch if it is defective.
