The Festiva that my son bought, 1991 5 spd manual, did not come with an owners manual...What is the engine oil capacity?

Hey, i have been using 5W-30 for the longest time and its been fine, it should say in owners manual but dont have it. The capacity should be around 4 quarts give or take half a quart, just make sure u add in as needed and dont overfill it. If you buy one of those yellow gallon or so jugs of 50/50 coolant, i used about half of that in mine. Hope that helps, have no idea for transmission. I would just leave the transmission fluid in since im guessing u have a lot of miles on the car.

Normally 4.5 quarts. Toyota dealers will probably give you a manual for free. Can't hurt to ask? Hope this helps...

It's not uncommon for these little engines to burn oil. Now granted, that is an excessive amount, the engine should be looked at and tested for worn rings and valve guides.

Fuel tank, 17.2 gallons. Radiator capacity, 1.25 gallons. Oil capacity 4.5 quarts with the filter. Oil pressure, 20-50 psi.

The best cure without removeing the engine or head is to change your oil and use a 0w30 synthetic oil in the engine,if this gets rid of the noise then your good to go,if not you need to replace the lifters or have a blockage in an oil gallery.Try new oil first,the later will not be cheap to repair.

It should be listed in the owners manual, but because of different oil cooler setups you may have to do the change yourself and add oil until the correct level is established..... for the first oil change.
Most likely 7 liters,but start with 5,run the engine to fill the oil filter,let it sit for 5 mins and recheck and fill to full.
Note the amount needed for next time.

I have a USA 1993 Festiva owner manual. I don't think it has automatic trans info though.
