Mp 530 error code 103.0.0

My batch scanning and copying does not work all of a sudden. I get an error code that there is a paper jam in the automatic document feeder, but there is no jammed paper. I thought the feeding rolls were dirty, but that did not do it. I tried 3 papers instead of 2, and it worked once, but not again. When I trick it to allow me to keep the cover open, the white cog wheel on the side move, but not the feeding rolls that are supposed to grab and move the documents. What to do?

You will see small levers were the paper passes. check if one of them are not stuck.

No that's not the problem. The paper can be pushed into the right position, passed the levers. As I mentioned, the feeding rolls are not moving. I suspect the cog system is dislodged somehow but don't want to waste time or damage anything by not being educated about how to fix the issue.

MP530 error code 5700

Please be sure you do not have a paper jam. Bits of paper can be left internally which may impede the paper path.

Otherwise you may try to reset the device:

1) Press and hold the <On/Off> button until the display on the machine goes blank. (If this is unsuccessful, unplug the power cord).

2) Wait approx. 10 seconds and power back on. Wait until the printer completes its startup routine before trying another print job.

3) Your MP 530 requires repair service.

Documents will not feed from the ADF

Is there a more permanent fix in the meantime? I'm just tired of fiddling each time that I use the ADF

ADF paper jam, when there is none

If you are receiving an Error Code 103 or a Paper Jam error, but there are no pages in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), follow the steps below:
  1. Close the scanning application (such as PaperPort)
  2. Turn off the scanner and the computer
  3. If you have a combination ADF with a Flatbed scanner, unplug the ADF cable from the base of the scanner
  4. Plug the ADF cable back in
  5. Turn on the scanner power
  6. Turn on the computer
  7. Try scanning again
For a Paper Jam or Error Code 103, make sure that the ADF cable in the rear is connected to the scanner base. Check the flatbed to make sure that it is clear. A page incorrectly placed on the flatbed may interfere with a page feeding through the ADF.

If your scanner stops scanning due to a paper jam in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), a warning dialog box appears after a few moments.

To clear a paper jam:
  1. Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
  2. Remove the jammed paper and close the cover.
If you are receiving a paper jam error, or if the scanner is running continuously, check to make sure the paper sensor arm is not stuck down.
  1. Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
  2. Look for the small black plastic arm
  3. When you press on this arm, it should move freely up and down
  4. If the arm is stuck down, please contact Technical Support for troubleshooting options
  5. Close the ADF cover.

Cannnon mp-530 shows 6a00

Hi
This is same as the wat full
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

I have canon PIXMA MP

E3 error on the MP150 is a paper jam error. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the paper going into the printer and that the feed mechanism doesn't have anyhting in it. Also run a roller cleaning from the printer software.

Error code 5010

Yes, same thing happens to me...Error code 5010...and flashing green and orange...alternating lights.

I was trying to photocopy (in basic black, not colour). I had a few pages to copy. I got this 5010 Error code after EACH copy!

I had to turn off the printer after each copy and then turn it back on for the next copy. That's not the worse of it.....once I turned the printer back on and hit copy again...the printer took a VERY long time to scan the item for the next copy. It took me a good 40 minutes to copy 15 pages.
Sooooo irritating!!!!!

Anyone know what to do?

I've also had the paper jam on me tons of times. I am really disappointed with this product. I would not recommend this printer to anyone!
