I use 1210s with an Allen Heath x:one2. Everything is fine when I use serato but i noticed recently that when i record something off real vinyl to use in serato it is much louder on the right channel than on the left - i have also now realised that this is consistent for just playing normal vinyl too - the right channel is always louder than the left. This is consistent across both turntables and doesn't happen when I use mp3s in serato. Do you think it's my mixer that's causing the problem? or could it be turntable issues? I thought originally it was a needle problem but just put a new needle on and still got the problem.

try lowering the volume to the minimum instead of increasing it. And to mask the volume drop out, please use only half or at most 70% of your speakers at once and drop off the volume for those while you turn up the volume for to other 30% which will be the opposite volume of your main speakers. The second set covers the volume drop that you might need to do during a show. In the mean time, you can setup a repair appointment to get the volume issue fixed.
there is a switch that cuts off the signal when the tone arm docks.check the wiring is not broken inside and that the switch is ok.typically, red green white black red and white are plus and left ground is green and right ground is black.the collar that screws on to the head unit has 4 pins.make sure the contacts are clean.measure the wires one at a time from the tone arm to the rca plugs on the back.the green and black go to the outside collars, and the red and white go to the center pin of the rca plugs
