Hello, Stephen.

The most common reasons for power issues are the battery, power jack and power adapter/cord.

Power off and remove the battery. If the laptop powers on with just the adapter connected, your battery is faulty.

If you move/wiggle the power adapter at the point where it connects to the laptop, and the power goes off and on, the power jack is the problem.

The power jack is inside the laptop and either needs soldering or replacement. If a power jack problem, it should be addressed by someone knowledgeable.

If no change, the power adapter is probably faulty and needs replacement.

Hope this helps.

I have a Bowflex BTX6 and it has power but screen shows "ble fail". Any experience with this problem?

According to the manual, the "ble fail" message indicates that there is a problem with the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module. The manual suggests the following steps to resolve the issue:

Turn off the treadmill and unplug it from the power source.
Wait for 30 seconds and then plug the treadmill back in.
Turn on the treadmill and check if the "ble fail" message is still displayed.
If the message persists, contact Bowflex customer service for further assistance.

Wont turn on

It is always good to give some information about the case with your question, like if there was a power out, strange noise from the computer or anything that might suggest or assist helping you.

try this:
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Press the power button several times
3. Plug the computer back in to the power outlet and try again.

If it fails, try to open the side of the computer,
Check to see if when connected to the power outlet, you can see a led on the Motherboard turning on.

It might be that your PSU is dead.

Wont turn on

I assume you mean its getting no power, no video. Possibilities:
>On/Off switch is bad
>Power supply failed
>Motherboard failed
>Power cord has a break in it/switch the power cord with another to test.

How do you know when the power supply is failing?

Actually its not the matter with the Power Supply, but with the CPU Cabinet Power Button.I recommend that you should replace the Cabinet. It will surely help, and for the freezing problem it's your Hard Drive problem, you can also try re installing Windows...!!
But for the Power Button problem you should definitely replace the cabinet

Cannot turn on.

Since you have power to the clock display- there is power to the unit. The "power" function button has failed because the momentary switch on the circuit board below the touch pad has failed. These little push switches have a short service life.
I suggest checking a source who sells the control circuit board for Soleus Air LX-140. Might be similiar component.

Computer curser froze. Tried Con/Alt/Delete but didn't offer restart or shutdown. Turned power off manually. Let it rest. Turned power on, pressed ''start'' button in front, computer starts but screen says...

The simplest problem may be a failed power supply; these are junk and failures are common. The monitor is telling you that it is OK but is not receiving any video or sync signals from the computer.
Since you failed to tell us what make and model PC you have, no one can make a positive suggestion for replacement but it is probably a standard ATX form factor which you can find by the hundreds on eBay. Pricing is all over the map but you should be able to replace it for under $50 US. If you attempt this on your own, take a few snapshots with the case removed in case you get panicky when installing a new supply. Also, if your failed supply has a power rating below 300W, upgrade it and the new one will run cooler and likely longer. Add ~50% to the current power rating so ~450 watts would be appropriate.

My computer won't come on.

Lilyoungun8, you need to be a little more specific; Check these:

1. Is the power from the mains turned on?
2. Turn it off from the wall socket and push the power cable back in, it may be loose. Then try turning it on again.
3. Hopefully it is none of the below, but if none of the aboe 2 things work, it may be one of these in increasing order of importance:
3.a. Your power cable is faulty - you will need to replace it
3.b. Your PC power supply is shot - you will need to replace it
3.c. Your motherboard has died - you will either need to replace it or buy a new PC altogether.
