Does the set continue to play normal except for the green being too pronounced ? Or does the set turn bright green with curved lines then the set shuts down? Let me know and I will assist you.

    The set has sound but there is no image - the whole monitor is green.

    Chances are its the Green CRT drive board which is causing the issue . I would try replacing the green CRT drive oard you canget one from www.tvrepairworld.com

The whine is a short somewhere---+ and - are marked on the board for each cap if it is polarized---usually the - will have a shaded white mark on top of board--if you got one in backwards it can explode......

yes u may have a problem with the power supply , bad capacitor on the power supply 2200uf at 25volts , thats the only cap with this value , it's right on the power supply

We have a rca d52w20b chasis itc222 green led power light blinks 3 times and tv will not come on. after a few tries the tv pops comes on and the picture rolls foe a sec then it works just fine.

my first instinct when i hear this at the shop is a shorted horizontal output transistor. and with that usally a flyback also. If you know any electronics you can replace. Replacing these components are not for a novice. i would first check the transistor to be sure

Look on Deflection board see if capacitor 150 is open on top 2200uf 16 if so replace it and the two near by it 220uf 35volts other wise order new deflection board cost verys 125.00
Caps are Green with gold writing on them.
