Dropped my nurit 8020 on the ground. Now when I turn it on, the first screen says self test please wait followed by the machine info and secured. Then it goes to a screen that reads tampered device/alarm...

To make it useable we need to remove the tamper first. Nurit OSP Loader is the the program we use to remove the TAMPER error. Replacing the internal battery and reloading a fresh NOS (nurit operating system) will remove the error. Check our website at freshpoint.org or cal us if you can at (775)358-2922 . It can be fixed, you don't need to replace it. thank you.

MCS 730 error - tamper open. Although tamper is closed.

Bit late I'm afraid but I'm guessing you didn't use the fifth (centre) screw when you fastened the box to the wall. The centre screw is an anti-tamper device and unless you use it you'll get a tamper open error. I know because I've just been there ("it can't possibly need five screws")!

How can i get the tamper light to go out, so i can reset my alarm on the cooper menvier 9448+ alarm control panel

Find out where the tamper fault is. This panel has tamper monitoring for external bell remote keypad zones and cover. Check all devices for loose covers ,wiring for breaks (especially if new carpets fitted) and bell box.You can check for continuety with a multimeter inside the panel you should have a short between A/T terminals and between 0v and TR if not check the wiring.

How can I solve the problem **tamper** in Verifone Vx510?

Verifone has a built in safe-guard against tampering. There are certain things that can cause the new Vx Series of terminals to display this error - from someone actually tampering with the terminal, to a physical drop or jarring of the terminal.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the ONLY way for a terminal to be unlocked when displaying "Tamper" is to send it into an authorized service center. I have many of these devices in the field for customers and have dealt with this issue a few times - unfortunately, that's the only way Verifone set it up for this error to be resolved.

Sorry for the bad news, but hope it helped!
