It is too old for online manuals. Any colour light would show it has power and usually a red, green or blue LED. Red is sometimes reserved as a fault condition in conjunction with another power light.
Check the speaker connections from the amp to the box and inside the box to the sub. Its possible these came loose from vibration. Also gently push in on the sub. It should move freely and feel spongy. If it drags or is stiff the sub may be bad. Use an Ohm meter and test the sub. There is an Ohm rating on the sub (usually 4) and it should be close to that. Also check the audio in. Maybe the amp/sub combo is fine but there is no sound going in. Use an MP3 player with a 3.5MM to 2M RCA cable as an input. Start with the volume all the way down and SLOWLY raise the MP3 volume. Please Rate!
You need to get another amp for your sub. I would say if you want good quality go for MTX because I have had amps from MTX and never had a problem. what you need to know is look at the fuses on the amp if there are 3 of the 25 amp fuses on there then it should push out about 750 watts but on MTX they under clock the amp so it will push about 800 at 14.4 volts for that you will need a 4 gauge wiring kit with a 60 amp fuse in the fuse link. As far as your other amp hook up the speakers and tweeters to that but be sure to tune in down and you would need a 8 gauge wiring kit. I hope this helps you.
if its not coming on it usually means you have a bad ground if it works for a little while then does it then its over heating and you will need to get a fan
Unfortunately I think you need to get it repaired or replaced .When a protection light will not turn off it is generally caused by an internal short and needs one or more replacement parts for it to come alive again.
