I am having a similar problem right now. My sub powers up and works on and off. It was moved today to another location in the living room clicks on an off when ever it feels like it. I checked all the fuses and they look OK, the whole unit looks mint. Any other items I could check.

    Thanks

Hello,

the only way to get to the fuse:
you need to remove all the screws surrounding the amp on the back of the speaker. when removing the last screw be sure to hold the amp
in place because if you don't it will fall out towards you causing damage to you as well the screw hole.
disconnect the speaker connector. you need to press the latch on the side of the connector to release it from the base.

carefully remove the amp and lay it flat on a sturdy surface. don't lay it on something that can tear because the grill on the amp can damage cloth very easily.

If you look at the board closest to the edge you will see a fuse there as well as on the main board that is lying flat. check those fuses to see if they are burn marks on them. you should have 3 fuses to check. replace as needed with the correct ones. if you don't know which ones you need take them to an electronics store or auto store.
hope this helps.

I have a panasonic microwave oven and it just quit do they have reset button or could it be a fuse

If nothing lights up at all then it probably is a blown fuse. Un-plug your microwave and take the screws out of the back and possibly the sides of your microwave and remove the cover. Find where the power cord goes into the back of your unit and follow the black wire of the cord to either a fuse holder or to a circuit board. Your fuse will be in the holder or on the circuit board. Make sure you replace it with the same size fuse as what you take out. The amperage size is stamped on one of the metal collars on the fuse. Hope this helps!

LG LDS5811BB power cord is good, however the dishwasher is not getting any power. No lights no nothing.

There is a fuse on power unit, that should be tested first, check also a different outlet.

Overall I have a switch at each end of the garage with two lights in the roof in between. Sw (A), Lite (B), Lite (C), Sw (D). SW A & D work as three way. I want to change out Sw D to a wall plug a

If this is what you've got:

"S3" are 3 way switches, black screws are the common or shunt. (Adjust colors of wires to what you have).

You can easily change it to look like this:

2fce37ab-a33c-44d8-bba6-846b5e07bd17.jpg

All S3s are out. Replace one with an S1 (single pole). The other S3 is now the outlet. Silver screw for neutral gold screw for hot. Outlet is always on, S1 controls both lights.

Please note: There are several ways to wire 2 three way switches (S3) to control a light or two. This is just one with a way to change this method to the way you're look for. Your wiring may not allow you to do this as easily.

Good luck!

Removed one end of a three way light and indtalled plug. Tied red and black at plug and it works. When I turn light sw on, plug goes dead?

Do you mean you replaced one 3-way switch with outlet?

Instead of replacing 3-way switch with outlet..
You can use a Leviton 5245 combo 3-way switch and outlet

2006 Dodge Dakota - power outlet doesn't work. The #28 fuse checks fine.

Take a 12v test light and wrap the probe with electrical tape, leave about
1/4" exposed. With the key on, ground the test light wire and insert the
probe into the outlet and touch it to the center power contact. If the light
stays out and you have a good ground, you don't have +power at the
outlet. If the fuse is good, you may have a bad wire or socket. But if it
lights up, we go to the next step. Touch the probe to a known +power
source and ground the wire to the metal side in the outlet. If you don't
get light, check the ground for the outlet socket. Repair as needed.
If it lights up, then you know you have power and ground. Check the
plug on the device you're trying to use. I hope I was of some help.
Good luck.

Has power to unit but nothing works, ie. oven, clock, timers, etc

If you don't see any light in the display or from the light bulb inside it you probably need to replace the fuse inside the microwave, it should be by the place where the cord goes in the microwave.

NO POWER

Inside the microwave is a fuse. If you can, try plugging the microwave into a different outlet (use an extension cord). If it does not power on, you have likely blow the fuse. If you are technical, you may look into replacing the fuse yourself (you will have to remove some parts of the microwave exterior to get to the fuse). Otherwise, if no longer in warranty, you will need to have a shop or handyman replace fuse.
