Check to see that the springs that hold the tub assembly to the frame are attached. Sounds like one may have come off on the machine.

yeah, Sears doesn't know what they're talking about. All the springs are still attached. Any other ideas?
One of the brake pads may be hanging up and causing the basket to wobble.
Look at page 13 of the manual below. It shows you the location of the brake pads.

I took it apart, the springs are fine. Just in case, I ran a short cycle load of just a couple of tee shirts. It's now making a horrible noise when it's draining and it no longer spins during the spin cycle. It agitates, but won't do the spin dry cycle, just this horrible groaning noise.

oh, it's model number 11023722200. Just called Sears parts dept and they said there aren't any springs holding the tub.
