On the back of your 6505 there are two jacks that are labeled speaker outputs. For mono function, use either one of those outputs and run a SPEAKER cable from your amp to one of the input jacks of your 1960a cabinet. I assume it is a 4X12 cabinet. Either input will work. Make sure you match the ohm selector on your 6505 (right next to the output jack, 4/8/or 16 ohms) to the ohm rating on your 1960 cabinet. It is likely labeled on the plate that houses the input jacks. You should be good to go. NOTE: Never turn your amp on unless it is hooked up to a speaker cabinet and never use instrument cable to hook your amp to your speaker cabinet. Bad for a nice tube amp like yours.
Rock on and hope it helps.

You can place speakers on shelves or on/in a low cabinet or entertainment
center. Some speakers are better suited to this arrangement than others.
"Acoustic suspension" sealed satellites are the most appropriate. Next best are
ported speakers--as long as the ports are located on the front of the cabinet.
However, speakers with rear-mounted ports won
Good Day,
To disassemble this TV follow these directions:
1). Pull front speaker grill off
2). Unplug the 2 cables connectors in front
3). Remove 4 screws on both sides of cabinet (might have plastic covers)
4). Carefully lift cabinet top until the support tabs clear the bottom cabinet
5). Carefully rotate the cabinet top and place back side on floor ( the mirror is on the top side)
6). Pack/wrap properly with blankets and transport in this manner.
You have a bad lid switch if you close the lid right before it touches the cabinet you should here a click if not you will need a lid switch. Good luck
hi,
my trinitron wega 32" flatscreen standby light blinks 12 times when its cold then and turned off then back on warm 4 times, I believe this is self diagnosis and degauss time. You might want to try and move it away from any magnets, speakers , or take the back off and airdust everything, be careful while inside the cabinet, theres a high voltage present even when off, the thick red wire all by itself going to the plug on the middle right side of the tube is HOT. maybe try plugging it into a different surge suppressor or right into the wall too.
Can you tell me if you have s[eaers on or near the TV? If so It may be possible that the TV is being affected by the speakers being too close if that is the case. If so then to move them of or away and to turn the TV off for 30 min should solve it. Hope this helps.
Pulley belt stretched, replace.
Remove the back cover to tv, slide the chassis
out, remove speaker connector, and other ones
to allow the chassis to be out away from cabinet to take the metal cover off surrouding the vcr unit. Usually a couple of screws that hold
the whole vcr unit in, remove these, lift the
unit from the chassis carefully and check the
belt as it is stretched and not making tight
grip on the white pulleys that perform the
mechanical functions of the VCR. When putting
back together, and replaced the belt be sure to
lift the vcr door inward before sliding the
chassis back into cabinet so the door latch
will open and close properly, otherwise you
put a tape in and the door won't open back up.
Have you had any kind of magnets close to the tv set? I had a brand new sanyo do the same thing. I had pulled the speaker box out of my truck and stood it up next to the tv (not thinking about where I put it). Turned it on a few hours later only to see a messed up picture. I moved the speaker box to get behind the tv and the picture got better. Moved the speaker box back to the truck and after a couple of days the picture was back to normal. These were 4 large magnets on these speakers. Maybe I helped some!
