Do you mean the touch function isn't working? Try reloading the lenovo drivers.
Do you mean the screen is dark or non functioning?
The usual cause is the flat cable from the body of the laptop to the screen is broken.
Warranty or repair shop.
You screen is cracked. It will require replacement.
If it's not the screen, then it's the LCD lamp, which is generally just inside/beside the joint of the screen (where it meets the laptop body). You can try tapping the area gently, to see whether it falls back into place, but if you've got permanent colour defects, it's probably a broken LCD.
hello your screen will not work because the wirering that comes from the laptop to the monitor has either broken or came away from its plug it would be best to leave it into a repair shop i hope this helps you goodluck
I am so sorry that this accident happened. To be frank I think the repair will be expensive. you can get to buy the screen but you will need to check the price of a new model to the cost of teh screen. I wish to advice you to searrch for a second hand one which you can procure from repair shops where the mother board or body was defective. Attempt to go forward except with the cost of replacement. Hope this advice helps. Good day
Hi there. Yes you can have the screen replaced and you can do it yourself, however i would recommend that you send it for repair as these Eee PC's are difficult to disassemble and you have to know what your doing.
If you have any of the manufacturers warranty left on the netbook take advantage of that and send it to Asus for repair.
