All you have to do is:
Step One:
To save data, use EASEUS Data Recovery software (free version - 1GB of data recovery). how:
1. Download and install EASEUS Data Recovery
2. Choose Complete Recovery - Next
3. Choose the drive micro SD - Next
4. Save the data to the hard disk (max. 1GB)
5. Because of your micro SD 2GB, repeat the process of recovery (repeat step 2, 3, 4)
After all data is secure, do the process of removing the micro SD password
Step Two:
The first alternative - use the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
1. Download and install the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
2. Then, double click the file cp006049.exe
3. If you are using Win XP, double click the file cp006049.exe - select Install.
4. If you are using Win Vista or Seven, double click the file cp006049.exe - select extrack.
5. Then, open the program "HP Drive Key Boot Utility or hpdkbu.exe" - Next - select drive - Next - Create new or replace exiting configuration - Next - Hard drive - Next - Create new file system - Next - wait until the process is completed - Next - Finish.
6. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
7. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
8. Restore all data, to the micro SD.
The second alternative - use software HDD Low Level Format Tool
1. Download and install HDD Low Level Format Tool
2. Select micro SD - Continue
3. Click S.M.A.R.T - click Get Smart Attributes
4. Click LOW LEVEL FORMAT - click Format this device
5. Wait until the process is complete - press OK
6. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
7. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
8. Restore all data, to the micro SD.

Downloaded both the softwares of the second step but they did not help, First one could not be installed for vista and the second one does not read the SD card :(
Method 1
HP Drive Key Boot in Win Vista & Seven
1. Double click the file cp006049.exe - select extract - OK (do not select install)
2. Insert the micro SD into a computer
3. Open the file hpdkbu.exe (from the folder where the files in extract) - Next - select drive - Next - Create new or replace existing configuration - Next - Hard drive - Next - Create new file system - Next - wait until the process is completed - select HP flash firmware package - Next - Finish.
4. Remove the micro SD from the computer, then re-enter
5. Quick micro SD format, or format of the Administrator. Format from the Administrator; click START - Control panel - View by, select Large icons - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management - right-click the drive micro SD - select Format - Yes - give check the Perform a quick format - OK.
6. Restore all data, to the micro SD.
Method 2
HDD Low Level Format Tool
1. Install HDD Low Level Format Tool
2. Insert the micro SD, wait until the computer is detected.
3. Open the program Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool, select the micro SD - Continue
4. Click S.M.A.R.T - click Get Smart Attributes
5. Click LOW LEVEL FORMAT - click Format this device
6. Wait until the process is complete - press OK
7. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
8. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
9. Restore all data, to the micro SD.
10. If the micro SD not detected, restart the computer, insert the micro SD, then open the program Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool.

I have locked my memory card and forgotten the password. Format card also requires password and my laptop cannot read it. Please help.
Hi, Have u ever given any Password to ur Memory card if yes and u have forgotten that then there is no way to unlock ur memory the only way is to format the memory card and before formating take the backup of the data then do format
