The component key is the setup key. To program the remote, press and hold the component key that you want to program. Then when the On-Off light turns on and stays on, enter the first code for the device you want to the remote to control. Then release the component key and check if the code controls your TV. (Some codes may only control some functions so try all the keys you will want to use before deciding that you have a good code.) If the code doesn't control all of the features, repeat the steps from holding the component key and try the next code.

For Panasonic TVs try the codes 1003, 1054, 1055, 1062, 1109, 1130, 1170, 1248 .

Please note that the codes in the universal remote are limited to those for devices released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your TV is newer than your remote, you may need a newer remote.

I do not find an RCR312WV remote from RCA. The code finder list is here: http://remotefinder.rca.com/default.aspx?site=rca . The site works with IE 8 but not with my Firefox browser.

Most Durabrand TVs were made by Funai; so try the Funai codes. For the RCR311W, the codes are 1038, 1046, 1047, and 1189.

Please note that the remote will only have codes for TVs released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your TV is newer, you may need a newer remote.

The RCA RCR312wv sold at Wal-Mart for about 7 bucks has 2 SOYO codes and the second one worked on my 32" SOYO
