Hello my name is Michael. I just got a NEW lg gt540 cell phone, however it didn't come with down load disk. The problem is I can't seem to add any of my music to phone. When I go to :...

It is asking add disk because you have not inserted any memory card in the phone.
First, you need to insert a micro sd card in the phone as this phone has very limited phone memory. These are very cheap now and can be bought online.
After that, you will be able to add music and other files to phone.

I cant transfer my ringtones from my san disk to my phone

Hi chad0872,

First and foremost, you can't do anything if you don't have all of the components needed to do the job. You will definitely need a computer. More importantly, you will also need a Micro SanDisk and TransFlash to SanDisk adapter. The Micro SanDisk is a very small device, approximately the size of a chip. The disk is placed in your phone to store your phone's items for transfer. The TransFlash to SanDisk adapter is used to access the SanDisk files on your computer. Your SanDisk should be at least 256MB for sufficient storage space.
Once you've established and obtained everything you need, you can now begin the initial transfer process. Insert your Micro SanDisk into the phone where your ringtones are stored. Access the Media Folder or Content Management folder in the phone. Highlight each ringtone file you want to transfer. Open the Options' section available for the ringtones and opt to move your ringtones from the phone's storage to the memory card. Once the transfer process is complete, remove the memory card from the phone
Now that you have moved your ringtones to the Micro SanDisk, place the Micro SanDisk into the TransFlash SanDisk. Insert the TransFlash SanDisk into your computer. This expandable memory slot can usually be found in the from of most laptops and next to the USB slots on the front panel of desktop model computers. Once the insertion is detected, your computer's AutoPlay dialog window will appear or an import options will be given. When the ringtones' window opens, drag and drop the ringtone files from your Micro SanDisk to your computer's desktop screen. Then transfer it to your phone,,,,

good luck with your fix,,,
have a nice day,,

Regards
Arul

2gb Sansa Fuze won't recognize 2gb Micro SD

place the blank card into the SanDisk player
go to SETTINGS press "enter"
go to SYSTEM SETTINGS press "enter
go to FORMAT press "enter"
it will ask "are you sure you want to format this device"?
select YES

dowload songs to REMOVABLE DISK drive F, at least that is what my PC assigned it to. You will overload your MP3 PLAYER if you continue to download to the Sanza Drive.

Hope this helps.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

LG Shine

The software it comes with doesn't do anything for music. When you hook it up to the USB it should go into mass storage mode. Then you just drag and drop music files over. The only problem I'm having is figuring out which folder to put music in since there are 2 menus for sounds/music on the phone. And when you plug the phone in, it brings up 2 drives. One for the internal phone memory and one for the external memory card.

4 GB micro sd and the Sandisk Sansa e250R...

If the 4gb micro SD is a high capacity SD (it will say micro SDHC on it) your player may not be able to read SDHC cards, my sansa can't because it's the 'older version' it will read 2gb and below micro SD cards though (it sucked when I found out because I had just bought a 6gb micro SDHC)
