Hi petrunvictor...
The answer to your question is Yes you can keep google as your home page and yahoo messenger in use at anytime
They are two seperate programs and can operate independly of each other.
When you turn on yahoo messenger just remember that you will still have your google home page minimized at the bottom of the page but you will have to minimize yahoo messenger to see it again.
Please take time to rate me
I have had the same problem. It tries and tries to load, but never does. Just get a blank, white page. All the Yahoo boiler-plate solutions (latest browsers, update Java and Adobe, etc.) do not help. I finally found out how to make it load INSTANTLY!
By blocking "www.yimg.com" I can do that with my latest version of FF browser, and my "no script" plug-in. The entire problem is with Yahoo's software revisions of "yimg.com" not with our browsers, etc. But, they won't admit that. Yahoo just keeps giving us the same old boiler-plate answers, which do not solve the problem.
You have to setup a yahoo as your Home Page.
Go to: Tools/Options/Main/Homepage and type http://www.yahoo.com and click ok.
Next time when you open the browser it will start with yahoo page
to set yahoo as your homepage go into the tools dropdown in internet explorer. Once in tools click on internet options then you can set your homepage to whatever you want. You have to be careful when installing some programs because it will change your homepage automatically. To keep this from happening keep an eye out for any check boxes that say something along the lines of
"would you like to make _____ your homepage"
As for the other problem im sorry but i don't know how to fix it as i am unfamliiar with the program
what browser are you using? you can use mozilla firefox to access all pages of yahoo. at times there are traffic congestion because of too many viewers of the pages,
maybe change yuor time of playing or getting online on pages you've mentioned.
