SOURCE: xo vision dvd player

hi there
it shouldn't be to hard to install this but it does require cutting a hole in your interior part of roof........a install like this could take anywhere from 30 mins - 1hr for a installer to put it in. to do it yourself it could take 1-3hrs to complete (note for your first time doing this take your time and follow the install manual that will be provided)

SOURCE: help me with back up camera for xo vision xod1740bt

I am just giving a suggestion. I too need to know how to wire this. From what you posted it sounds like you hooked the wire to a constant +12v that is always on. Forgive me if I am wrong. Anyway, Did you connect this wire to rear reverse light power. I think from what you say it is supposed to be connected to the positive side of that light. If this solves your problem can you PLEASE let me know the full details of everything else you hooked up on the circuit to make the backup work. For instance what is the label of the orange wire. TIA.

I cannot get my xovision head unit to have any memory how do i get it to have memory?

You need to ensure that your constant wire (yellow) is spliced into your battery (+) wire. It will supply a few volts to the head unit to maintain time, disc position things of that nature.

Watch movies in drive

well first i recomend checking with local laws prior due to it could be illigal.... now to you awnser 3 solutions for you A. try connecting your brake wire to the head units harness on ground B. you will need to run power to a switch hook the brake wire to the other side and togle the switch a few times every time the deck turns off and on or C. check ebay and other sites for a "black box" this will simulate the pulation from your ebreak making your deck think its on this can be a costly part anywhere from 35 to 180 dollers

This is a problem with break wire. I too expierienced this. It is NOT a problem with radio. You need to ground the break wire in the harness. It is a protection wire so that it knows the emergency break is on. In other words it is supposed to stop you from watching movies while driving. Grounding the wire disbales the feature thinking the break is on. If you want to use the safety feature properly it should be connected to the emergency break switch that is grounded when pulled up or on.

You need to buy an amp adapter. SCOSCHE OEA4 4-Channel Adjustable Factory Amplifier Int. 23 bucks on ebay. You most likely have a factory amp in your car and the head unit's speaker output wires are already amped. the factory amp can't understand the audio signal.
