Auto shutoff I have the BrewStation and for some reason the coffee maker wants to quit brewing before the coffee is done.. If I shut the switch off and on again it will brew about 2 more cups and quit brewing again. Why? I've ran the cleaner through it and it still acts up. The coffee maker is only a few months old. Thanks, Cary

I have the same problem. Only occurred after about two month's use. I took the first one back and got a new one. Now the new one is doing the same thing. The problem is described here, but not really a fix. Is this a problem with all these coffee makers? I have the 10 cup model and really like it other than this.

Some of these coffee makers have feed tubes, which can be seen in the rear water reservoir, that feed the hot water to the grounds. some of these tubes collapse when the boiling water passes through them , then kink , causing the water to stop flowing untill it either cools or is straightened. To check and see if this is occuring.. look in the back reservoir, if there's a tube running through it, note how soft it gets as it starts to brew.. be careful the water inside the tube is hot.. This indentify why it stops brewing partway though..

Hamilton beach brewstation will not brew

Can you define will not brew? Do you mean no water transfers from the holding tank to the brew carafe? Does coffee not heat up?

Brewstation sounds like its boiling coffee after it's finished

It sounds like the sensor that switches from brew to keep warm is faulty... so it keeps boiling after it's brewed.
My suggestion to you is to clean it it with vinegar. The following link shows how to clean a ten-cup model. Just use smaller amounts for the six-cup model.
Good luck

Why am i getting a pour water error message on my coffee maker

Found the answer in an Amazon review. Place a small bamboo stick in the water sensor located in the resevoir. The ERR code disappears and you can brew as normal. If you leave the stick in, measure water carefully as there is no auto shutoff.

No instructions on programming auto shut-off time (feature listed on box).

You have to use the "Auto-Off" feature, which is located on the same button as on/off:
The automatic shutoff time (ASO) can be
programmed to shut off immediately after
brewing (0:00) or up to 4 hours later. The
default shutoff time is 2 hours.
Press and hold the On/Off button to display
current shutoff time. To change the preset
time, press and hold the On/Off button until
the red power light and LCD display begin to
flash. This signals that you have entered the
Set automatic shutoff mode. Set the time
you want coffee to begin brewing by
following the instructions in “Entering Time
Set Mode.”
When the coffeemaker shuts itself off, two
tones will sound.
NOTE: Automatic shutoff may be
programmed either before or during coffee
brewing. If you program the auto shutoff
time after brewing is completed the unit
will automatically account for elapsed time.
For example, if you set the auto shutoff for
40 minutes and 25 minutes have already
elapsed, the unit will shut off automatically
after 15 minutes (40 minutes minus the 25
elapsed equals 15 minutes).

Hamilton Beach Brew Station

My brewStation 47214 stopped pumping water today, even though the warming element continued to get hot. A half dozen screws later I discovered a second heating element inside the coffee maker. The internal element is what heats the water and forces it into the basket. This element was burned out, religating my brewstation to the garbage. Probably last 3+ years.

Coffee maker shuts off too quickly

It seems this coffeemaker insists on shutting itself off after 4 hours,
or whatever "auto-off" time you've programmed in. The only work-around I've found is to switch it to "Brew" and cycle the power switch off and on every time you pour a cup. That will start a new
4-hour timer cycle. Since the pot's still hot, it will go quickly to the
"brewing done" state and render 5 beeps.

Auto shutoff

I'd love to find a solution. I just got a black & Decker spacemaker coffee maker and although the features and instruction manual say nothing about an auto shut off, it is shutting off in just 2 hrs.

The only answer posted to the hopefull inquiries about disabling the auto shut off is rediculous. We all know how to turn the coffee maker off sooner than it turning off by itself for crying out loud !!!
