Firstly, the timing pin at the back end of the gear housing cover is inserted into the hole on the back face of the camshaft gear.This position is the engine cylinder compression _L stop mark. Then pull out the timing pin and adjust the intake and exhaust valves of one cylinder, two cylinders, three cylinders, four cylinders and five cylinders.Then turn crankshaft 3600 and adjust the remaining valves. The clearance of intake valve and exhaust valve is 0.25 mm and 0.49 mm in cold state.

When adjusting, first loosen the fixed nut of the valve adjustment screw, insert the gauge of specified thickness between the end of the valve rod and the valve rocker arm, twist the adjustment screw with a screwdriver in one hand, and pull the gauge slightly in the other. When the gauge is slightly resisted, the clearance is correctly adjusted.
