I have an RCA SDTV Model: 24V414T
The TV shuts off by itself after 1-2 min. and turns on by itself in the next 1-2 min and the process goes on.
Can anybody help with this problem.

1 press setup / tv menu in tv mode the tv menu screen will appear 2 press the arrow up or down arrow to select setup than press enter 3 press up or down arrow to select auto-shut off and turn it off
it could be a ghost but most likely a bad solder connection , crystal(controls the eprom)(menu chip) , or the eprom chip itself will need to be replaced
