when the lg cu500 says "enter nck remaining: 5" means u need to enter an 8 digit number to unlock the phone. the 5 is the remaining 5 chances u get. once u use all 5 chances and keep entering the wrong code carelessly... u will then be prompted to enter a puk number which is only provided by cingular/at&t (as ive heard).

i have my old lg cu500 i am trying to find an unlock code without having to pay for one. a friend of mine needs a decent phone that works and mine is just laying around not being used. i switched carriers and cant use a gsm phone. im now on a cdma network. she doesnt have the money for another phone so this is why im trying to unlock my old phone to give to her.
