My 2003 Kenmore cold spot model # 106.50522102 keeps turning off. If you jiggle the temperature knobs it cuts back on. The light remains on.

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.
Be sure the BACK COVER is in place and hasnt been accidently removed.

How do you light your pilot light on an kenmore oven

To light the pilot light on a Kenmore Maxitrol oven, please follow these steps:
  1. Locate the pilot light assembly. It's usually at the bottom of the oven, behind a small metal cover.
  2. Turn the oven control knob to the "off" position.
  3. Remove the metal cover by pulling it out or lifting it up, depending on the model.
  4. Locate the pilot light and the pilot light valve. The valve is usually a small red button located near the pilot light.
  5. Press and hold the pilot light valve in for a few seconds while you use a long match or lighter to light the pilot light.
  6. Once the pilot light is lit, continue holding the pilot light valve in for another 30 seconds.
  7. Release the pilot light valve and make sure the pilot light stays lit. If it doesn't, repeat the process.
  8. Replace the metal cover and turn the oven control knob to the desired temperature setting.
Note: If you're having trouble lighting the pilot light or keeping it lit, it may be best

Where is adjustable cold control on kenmore model 15098 freezer

Found this

The temperature is factory preset to provide satisfactory food storage temperatures. However, the temperature control is adjustable to provide a range of temperatures for your personal satisfaction. If a colder temperature is desired, turn the temperature control knob toward MAX and allow several hours for temperatures to stabilize between adjustments.

In my experience, the temperature adjustment knob is behind the grill on the side. They put it hidden there because you hardly ever need to touch it. The model number isn't quite right for a Kenmore. It should be 3+5 numbers 123.12345 like this one 253.12502

How do I properly operate the Turbo Boil on my new Kenmore range?

Turboboil is a feature offered on a number of Kenmore electric ranges and cooktops. Without you model number it's hard to get into specifics - but turboboil is a special, high wattage heating element that delivers up to 3KW of energy to a specific heater on the cooktop. If I understand correctly, you would only use this setting when you wish to bring water to a boil in the shortest period of time possible - then change to a normal burner heat setting to maintain the temperature of the water in the pot.

Remember, an electric heat element is turned "full on" and "full off" as needed to maintain temperature (unlike a dimmer knob controls a light bulb). The turbo boil turns on a "double heater" to rapidly heat the water - after water reaches 212 degrees, it can not be heated any further (it turns into steam) so you should switch to a normal burner mode from that point forward.

Temperature control knob when turning from cold position to heat will not work remains cold.

There is an electric motor that turns heater core on and off. It's located under the dash to the left of the glove box. Some disassembly required. The part will cost about $120 to $180. part number is #MR958603. I saved money by purchasing it on line. It is a stocking part at most Mitsubishi dealers.

Kenmore washer 80 series model 110.22892100 only fills with Hot water. The Hot/Cold hoses are correctly installed. The only way to get warm or cold water to fill in the tub is to hold temp selector knob...

so if you set the knob to cold then the knob would automatically move to hot correct first thing to do is check the water valve which is where your hot and cold hoses connect to inside the machine you get to this from inside the machine by removing the cover one side f the valve is hot and one side is cold take a multi meter and check to assure that when you do set the selection to cold that you are getting power to the top of the valve on the cold side if you are not getting any power to the cold side of the valve replace the valve if you are getting power to the cold side the next thing t check would be that switch that is your selector nob for this you would have to go into the area where your timer is located and check for any burn spots on the small electronic piece that is on the back side of the switch most of the time it is the valve that goes bad and it is a rarity that the switch would go bad but it is possible please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation and if you have anymore questions please message me back have a great day

Kenmore frostless 19 temp. control knob

i've pulled up the service diagram for it and there's no thermostat or temperature control but there's a limit sensor inside the freezer I'm sure that such sensor is failing and when it defrosts, it stays on to long, and the whole 15 min defrost cycles goes on causing the freezer to warm up, delaying the freezing process. I'm almost sure that the limit is going.
