Del jay , post exect model of PC.
full models,
acer veriton L670G, in english a very very tiny PC desktop and HUGE Limits on upgrades. as all are.
so you want to fit a newer faster GPU card here, you say..

the manual and photos of the guts answer that in second flat.
first there must be PCI-e slot there, that can do GPU lane count X16
ig came with super old intel CORE 2 CPU and IGPU inside it,
the mobo has no GPU slots at all, so where would you plug it in, answer CAN NOT.
it is a what you see is what you got, PC, more ram sure. (if not max now)

next time buy a real PC, if not needing dinky do PCs for a DORM buy a real desktop
one that is good and not expensive is a DELL 3020MT or DT, but never smaller SFF or micros ever.
if flush with cash, dell 9020MT can do 2 times the ram of 3020 (they are sisters)

My guess you dream of gaming (called AAA prime games $60+) if yes, this 670g is useless as lips on a chicken

SOURCE: Acer Veriton M464 E4700 2.6Mhz cpu upgrade on MCP730 Mobo

Go to www.newegg.com and whatever you want to upgrade click on that item and match it up with your current board (by looking at the specifications and matching them). I suggest to buy a new mobo and all new processors and ram. You can use your old case, hard drive and all that good stuff that is removable.

SOURCE: upgrading graphics card

Connect the monitor to the onboard video connector first. then
you need to disable the on-board graphics in the BIOS save the setting and shutdown. Then connect the monitor to the GeForce video connector and boot up then you will get a video signal on the GeForce video card.

Graphics Card: AGP 8X Graphics External Connector: 15-hole connector. Which graphic card that suits the best in wise of performance and compatibleness...?? Anyone please help me!!!!!

You probably can't buy an AGP card now since they are so old. Performance will be very poor no matter what card you use. You won't be able to run any modern games on it since the CPU, RAM etc will also be very poor. Put any old AGP card in it and just use it for web browsing and simple tasks. Otherwise, it's time to upgrade for sure.

Can not start acer veriton 5600g with ati 1650 pro agp card ? The bios doesn't seem to recognise the card and it beeps when i disconnect the onboard vga. Any help will be appreciated... thanks

How did you disconnect the onboard VGA?
The onboard VGA device must be disabled in the BIOS and the ATI graphics card inserted in the computer.
When you bootup it should default to a standard Windows VGA configuration, then install the ATI video driver o you can get high resolution graphics.

AGP 4X

Hi,

Specs sheets for an Acer Veriton 5200 says that it has one AGP 2X/4X expansion slot, therefore the answer to your query would be a yes. Even if your add-on video card is 8X, it would still work however the card would downgrade itself to only $4X.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
