I am unable to switch on my Samsung N120 laptop.When I switch ON only the power LED glows but nothing else happens.Let me explain the full story.Earlier also when I connected my Nokia c1-01 mobile with it,the same problem occurred.But I switched ON using the network cable(connected with other laptop).This happened many times but this time the same technique is not giving any result. Pls help me. Thanks.

Hi, Perhaps you have to activate the S-Video output of your laptop. In most laptop models, this is done with the use of the Fn key + some other function key like F5 or F6 or whatever it is being used by your specific laptop model. You can also check if this feature in enabled in your Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor or amongst the other tabs/choices. At other times, you may need to change your laptop's screen resolution to match the HDTV's capability/capacity. Hope this be of some help/idea. The keyboard connector come in two types.
A plastic connector and usually has a plastic tab that you pull to lift the connector off, DO NOT PULL on the ribbon cable.
The other type is, a ribbon cable that is inserted into a plastic socket on the motherboard. To release the ribbon cable, lift up the plastic catch on both ends of the to release the ribbon cable. When you want to insert the ribbon cable, make sure the catch is in the up position before you insert the ribbon cable, then insert the ribbon cable and the push the ends of the plastic catch down to lock in the ribbon cable.
