I have black and white lines running down the screen after I connected it to internet. How do I get rid?

Could be a lose cable, Check the cables connecting to the monitor (screen) and the to PC.

Also, made sure your phone or any other electronic device(s) aren't in close proximity to the screen. They sometimes cause interference.

Hp pavillion dv9815 won't start. it just reboots over and over. shutting down each time.

take out the battery, then take out the memory. Put one of the two memory modules back in, and turn it on. If everything looks ok, shut down and put the other one back and try again...if everything is ok...then ok. If it doesn't work after the first one, let me know...

Screen is white with black vertical lines upon booting up. I can't get beyond this screen.

The video card (built-in on the motherboard) maybe faulty or the LCD screen is faulty.
Connect an external monitor to the video port of your laptop, power up the monitor first then boot up your laptop. If the video card id OK then the laptop will automatically divert the video to the external monitor. Then the problem is a faulty LCD screen.
If the external monitor also displays black vertical lines then you have a faulty video card and since it is part of the motherboard it is impossible to fix.

My laptop screen turned white all by itself while running. I turned it off. Now, when I start the laptop it displays the same white screen after the boot. The white screen is stripped with blue, black and...

Hi there, most likely there is a problem with either the GPU of your laptop.
The only other troubleshooting step you can try is to open the laptop up and reseat the connector of the LCD to the motherboard where your GPU is integrated.
You may also want to try an external monitor and if nothing is displayed or the same screen is displayed then the GPU of your laptop is fried and it needs to be replaced.
Hope this helps!

LCD monitor have Vertical lines and black colour become greenish

normally the 19" resolution can support up to 1280*1024, but if it comes with vertical lines in full screen, it might indicate the panel is no longer to work and probably it's time to replace new one.

Right half of screen is Black with a White vertical stripe

Yeah, I have this exact same problem, except my mom slammed my laptop shut in frustration around half an hour ago, so that's why it's like this. The right half of my screen is black with two colorful stripes (mostly white), but the left half is visible. I've researched a bit and found out that this is because the LCD in your monitor has burnt out, and since you don't have a monitor to attach, the only thing you can do is to go to where you bought the laptop and either get it fixed for free or return it for a brand new one (if your warranty still stands). If not, you might as well get a new laptop. I think my warranty has expired, so I'll get a new laptop, hopefully.

Hope this helps!

Red vertical lines appear, can only run computer in Safe Mode

check the video cable and see if it;s properly seated. run the laptop with something that uses memory. if the video chip it going to show signs of problems, it will be more prominent when the laptop gets hot. most cases laptop motherboards have integrated video cards and cannot be replaced.
