Lamp Light on for Hitachi CP-x206 3LCD Projector. I turn on projector, it flashes green light on power button trying to turn on but will not now. Eventually a red light comes on the power and Lamp button on top of projector. Projector will not work at all. Please help...hoping there is easier solution that replacing lamp.

If both lights are flashing orange, that means that the bulb needs to be replaced and the filter needs to be cleaned. Make sure you reset the counters for both after you replace them.

easy on botem vent unscrew it then u see screw in ther holding balest of the bulb unscrew it litte pull up action on its arm as u will see lift it all out to get new in then reset timer ok

Hi there

In your Menu options there is a subfolder where it either reads lamp or lamp timer.

Scroll down to it and hold down you right or left arrow key on the Projector for a couple of seconds.

Hitachi CP- RX60:

Press the RESET button on the remote control or the right-pointing triangle button on the projector for about 3 seconds. Once you see the RESET dialog, use the upward-pointing triangle to RESET. I can't see what you are or are not doing...so please see page 39 of the user's manual (download found below)

Hitachi-CP-S335 :

"The lamp time is the time counted after the last resetting. It is shown in the OPTION menu as the use time of the lamp. Pressing the RESET button on the remote control for about 3 seconds displays a dialog. To reset the lamp time, select the RESET option using the (triangle) button."

clean filter and reset the filter timer by advanced options filter timer and hold reset till menu shows then arrow up and it will zero out.
