I have a Uniden DECT 3015 + 1, recently purchased brand new. The phone, in standby mode, continues to flash with the wording "Incomplete Data". I have activated Caller ID through my network in the hope it fixes it. The caller ID appears correctly when we receive incoming calls, but unfortunately the phone continues to light up with Incomplete Data when on standby. Before purchasing this phone, I had the same phone (but without the additional add on handset, and had the same issue. uniden (via email customer service), confirmed it was faulty. I since took it back to Harvey Norman, which they replaced with ease. I decided to pay $15 extra and purchased an additional handset with it. The problem however still remains and is consistent amongst ALL handsets. Is this a fault with Uniden? Or am I missing something here?

SOURCE: uniden dect 6.0 caller id light wiil not go out

I am not aware of any Uniden phone that has a "Caller ID" light. If you are talking about the small red LED on the top of the handset, that is a voice mail indicator and can be triggered by either a voice mail being held by your telephone service provider (Called Call Notes by some of the "bell" companies) or an unheard message on the telephones internal answering machine. Most of the time this is due to a voice mail on your service provider. If you don't think you have Voice Mail from your telephone service provider, call them and make sure, now days they include it with a bunch of other features without you ever asking for it. If you do not have voice mail through your telephone provider and there are no new messages on your answering machine, follow the Reset VMWI indicator procedures in your owners manual availible at http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat+1

SOURCE: CALLER ID ONLY SHOWS "INCOMING CALL"

I was using this site while trouble shooting this in the US...
If the customer has DSL with filters in the same system go back to the NID and Isolate the DSL,
test the caller id and call waiting caller id. If this works you have Data Bleed coming from the DSL.
Make sure there are not two sets of filters on the line. Tjis customer had a filter with the DSL modem.

Doing this we just fixed an on going problem for a field tech who was the second callout on a customer issue.

How do I get the ringer back on?

You may download a copy of the manual at http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/D1680om.pdf

If the phone is in silent mode, see "Silent Mode" beginning on page 10. If the handset volume is turned down, press up-arrow while in standby mode. If the base volume is turned down, press "+" while in standby mode.

Uniden Dect 6.0 d1384-2 display says searching

I have the uniden 3005 accessory handset that pairs with the uniden 3015. I tried all the above holding down of buttons etc. none of that worked. I finally rang uniden and the technician said to put the accessory phone on the base unit where it's connected to the phone line. This worked and the phone registered, then I returned it to its own base that it came with. Uniden need to amend their manual wording so that it reflects the above steps.

How to turned off silent mode

With the phone in standby, try pressing and holding the # key on the handset for 5+ seconds. This toggles the silent mode for the D1660 between "always on" and off. If this doesn't help, check the Ringer volume. (This can be set by pressing the volume + button with the phone in standby on some models.)

If this doesn't work, please add a comment with the specific model Uniden DECT 6.0 phone that you have? There are several. Manuals for many Uniden DECT phones are available from their customer support site: http://www.uniden.com/bin/venda?ex=co_disp-view&bsref=uniden&scat=dectphones_mnl . The manuals are in alphabetical and numerical order.

I hope this helps.

How do you turn off silent mode on Uniden DECT 6.0 cordless phone?

In standby mode pressing and holding # brings up the "Silent Mode" special feature .. unfortunately the only options are to set the time for the device to be in silent mode and no way to turn if off. The solution is supposedly to press the # key again and hold it down, but this does not work either. The only way I can manually return to not be in "Silent Mode" is to reset the base unit!!

In the manual it refers to standby mode...what is standby mode and how do I access it?

Standby mode is when you're not doing anything with the phone and it's just waiting for someone to call.
