no idea why need to reboot --- check power supply if other things plugged into socket the draw can heat up wires also modems are on constant and do heat up and wires do get hot
It could be a couple of things.
1.Buy a plug tester from Home depot or Lowe's start from the one that works and move over to the ones that don't work. The Plug tester will tell you what wire is lose. Most of the time its just wire nut. BEFORE WORKING ON WIRES MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF POWER AND UNPLUG BATTERYS. Power must been on to use plug tester.
2. lose wire it could be the neutral", from the power inverter
Or in one of the j-boxes of the plugs.
Those normally do not fail, they have a mercury switch in them. However there is a cravat they have to be mounted level and up side up. If that is the way it is mounted then just replace it.
If compressor is hot, it could be an issue with the starting components. Let it cool down for about an hour an it is room temperature to the touch. If the breaker trips when the compressor attempts to start, I would look at the start components. It may be just a case of unusual timing that they went bad at this time. Make sure there is nothing else on the circuit you have it plugged into. Could be an overloading issue of the circuit.
There might be something wrong with the wiring connection. Check for open wire, burn-out wire or worn-out terminal lug from your control box. Unplug the unit and unscrew the control box to find the problem. If you found nothing abnormal plug it in and test with volt meter if power is coming at the end of the wires (connected to the plug). If no power at the end of the wires, it is broken near the plug. Cut the wire and reconnect it back to a new plug.
Then you have a faulty Power Inverter.. You need to replace the power inverter below the screen... it is the Long rectangular Circuit board - it is what the lcd wires/plug plugs into.. it converts the DC power going through your laptop back to AC Power to Be able to power the bulb..They average $12 to $30 on Ebay for replacement... just unplug from both ends ( display cable plug and lcd bulb plug ) When Searching on Ebay... type : sony vaio vgn-tx power inverter
