LG WM-2277HW I noticed that my washer's light was not turning off-I keep the door open after my last load to dry it out. I noticed that the washer would not turn on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and I was able to do another load of wash but again the light stayed on and it would not start again. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it did turn back on. Now in the mean time, when it is plugged in, the light is on the whole time. Is there a reset bottom? No code appears on the screen. Please help?

I have the same problem.. My light stays on and the chime will chime every 8 or 9 minutes. I have to unplug my washer to shut the light off. Not happy about this.

It sounds like a problem with the control board.  You will need to have the unit checked out by a qualified LG technician and possibly replace the board.

CE is an error stating that you have a problem with you board or possibly the stator on your unit. Either way your going to need service. You can ohm out your stator to see if it is the problem.
Check the back harness, maybe it has come loose, remove the back panel and it is the blue connector.

SOURCE: Problems with LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer

It is a rare problem but I've seen it happen.  The only way to resolve this issue immediately is to remove the top of the washer to gain access to the dispenser.  The dispenser can be disassembled by unsnapping the top section where the hoses are connected.  Once the top section is lifted, you can safely pull the drawer out.  Not sure what happened but more than likely the water dispenser has warped downward causing it to jam the drawer.  Recommend replacing the dispenser to resolve this problem.

SOURCE: LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer. I am trying to remove the big nut

the best way is to have some one hold the drum from the front and turn the nut. it can also be done sometimes by turning the drum in the opposite direction and then pop it with the wrench. not the best way but it works.or you can hold the stator assy with one hand and tap your wrench with a hammer.i hope thia was helpful, would like to here how things worked out.

I have had my LG front loading washer for over 5 years. I always leave it open to air dry after I am finished, usually for one to two hours. This past week I have noticed a mildew smell coming from inside...

you might want to try cleaning the washer using 1 cup of Clorox bleach, run it through the white or sanitary cycle, unless your machie has a clean washer cycle like mine does. Hope this helps.

TROMM LG WM-2277HW

You may have a broken door latch switch that doesn't tell the computer that the door is actually closed.  Before you actually replace the latch switch, make sure the wire connectors are securely attached to the latch assembly.
