I have a T3612 emachine computer. It has two sound programs. The surround sound is the active program. It is not working. There is no sound. One of the programs is called Realtek Hi def. audio. The other is the computer program. What can I do to get sound? The sound card is attached to the mother board.

SkullyFox give the good solution but let me tell you one thing.....
If you by mistake installed the wrong drivers in the Realtek chipset sound then you have to remove or uninstalled the sound application …..
Intel Original all the boards having the same problem ….
Over the internet one patch is available for Realtek sound drivers first you need to install that patch after this also sound not came then try re-installing the Sound application…
