Nextar will not start up seems to be frozen the screen rolls I pushed the reset button and turn it off my computer does not reconize it Type your question here...

hmm it might be lock from pass code?
try to plug it into a computer oh but you'd have to install drivers to be reconize and you'd have to set printer to PC mode to reconize.

Have you done a reset to this device. I think that you may have already done it. If not, reset the device. There is a reset button at the back of this device. Press it to reset the system. If this reset function does not hep you at all, surely the main board of the unit is faulty. Especially to the video processing section of that board will have the fault.
Very sad to say that, no other information about GPS devices, such as its schematic diagrams, service manuals, alaingment proceedings etc:- will no be published due to security reasons and by low. If the reset function does not help you to rectify the problem, you have to contact the authorised service center for Nexstar. Nothing can be done by any service technicians to these GPS devices. OK.

i need the startup cd .Ibought the pda off of ebay and it camme w2ithout the cd,had it 5 days and now it won't stop blinking and won't turn on?help!

Mine does this from time to time. I pull the SD map card, power it off, and hit the reset button while the unit is unplugged. These units are notorious for this. But then again, they're inexpensive. No receipt ... well, you're pretty much stuck with it. No receipt, no return or repair.

Since the operating system and navigation software are preloaded into the internal flash memory of the GPS, the freezing may either be software or hardware failure. First, press the "Reset" button or push the stylus into the "Reset" hole, to see if the navigation software can load successfully. If the program still does not load, then the software may be corrupted. Also, if the internal memory fails to read or write and the software cannot load properly, it may be caused by hardware failure. In this case you must return the unit for exchange or repair to the retail location from which you purchased it, or contact Nextar for further assistance.

Sounds like a similar problem I had today.

My Creative Zen V Plus wasn't recognised by my PC, then it wouldn't even switch on.

Following the solution of another similar problem on here I fixed it. Connect your Zen via USB to your computer and press the reset button. Should spring to life and start re-building your library. I am as I type adding new tracks to mine :))

1. push down the button slider that you see on the side of the mp3 player labeled <mode>. that unlocks it.2. then plug it into the computer, select my computer from the start menu, and click removable disk drive (its usually labeled [E:].) 3. then delete what you need to by right clicking them and selecting delete.

Sounds like your firmware is corrupted. I have fixed a few 910's with this same problem. If you have the Tom Tom Home program installed, try to reinstall the firmware using Tom Tom's website.

Make sure you always select to disconnect the device before unplugging it. You might have unplugged it from the PC while it was still writing data. This will certainly corrupt the firmware.
