hi,
acer site select driver downloads type in make model op system comes up with drivers for crystal eye web cam.download and install.they have a scan programme which will give you the latest drivers they have for your system.
Go to ACER web site and download the CAM Drivers and install them again. OR, go to the Control panel/devices/ and look down the list and look for an ICON suggesting a device is not recognized. Click on the ICON and select Update Driver.
You may need to install drivers for the webcam. Go to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers and go down the menus to your specific laptop, then download and install the drivers.
Have you installed all the software that came with your webcam? if so then yahoo messender is one free program that allows you to interract online with your web cam the software should give you other programs that you can use to either make live vids or take still shots.. the way you use the webcam is entirely in your hands.. experiment with the programs that you installed with your webcam or goto acer site and ask them
the most common solution is to remove or disable the hardware from device manager ,restart the computer and and reinstall or enable the driver(auto or from software support disc-depending by brand)
