The primer bulb should be attached directly to the carburetor. There will be a plate with 4 screws, once on each corner, which you will have to remove to get the primer bulb off of the carburetor. You can find replacement primer bulbs at PartsBuggy.com.

I do not know the oil-to-gas ratio to mix/buy. My husband passed away, and I cannot find the manual. Help, please. THANK YOU

Can you find the model number on the Homelite Mighty Lite BlowerVac?

For the UT08520 and UT08921 26cc blowers and the UT08550 and UT08951 blower vacs, you can mix the Homelite Premium Exact Lubricant with gasoline following the label directions. For other synthetic oil additives, use 2.6 oz of additive per 1 gallon of gasoline. (It's 20ml to 1 l if you use the metric system.) That's a 50:1 ratio (gasoline to additive).

Many Homelite Blower manuals are available here: http://manuals.homelite.com/documents?page=5 . You should try to find your exact model and then check the manual to confirm that your model blower vac uses this same ratio of oil to gasoline. You will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the manual.

I hope this helps.

How do I replace the fuel bulb?

Homelite and Ryobi appear to be made by the same manufacturer. Home Depot now carries a "Fuel System Tune-Up Kit, AC04122," that includes 2 replacement fuel lines and a replacement Primer Bulb for 25cc, 30cc, and 26cc 2-cycle engines. Cost is $7 +.

How to change the primer bulb

There are 2 screws holding the primer bulb cover down. Simply loosen and remove old bulb and replace with the new one. Make sure you have the right size bulb. There are 2 or 3 different sizes.

Good Luck!

My Homelite Mighty Lite 26b Leaf blower has a punctured primer bulb. Homelite doesn't list the part number. Model number UT08520A Can you help? Thanks, Ed Mckinney,Tx

Homelite wants to sell you a new carburetor assembly. Your blower came equipped with a RuiXing brand carb. RuiXing does not offer any repair parts for their carbs, only replacement units.
Now for the good news....a Zama brand primer bulb fits perfectly on the RuiXing carbs. Check with your local small engine repair shop for a Zama primer bulb. The blower requires removal af the carb to get at both of the screws that hold on the bulb. It is not difficult, just one nut holds on the outer airbox cover...don't lose the little washers. Then one long stud and one short screw will take the carb off. Replace the primer bulb and reinstall everything the same way it came off.
Good luck!

Replace a primer bulb on a Homelite Mighty Lite 26cc trimmer

There should be two to four screws right around the primer bulb cover, which is located around the primer bulb. Remove those and switch the primer bulb out.

I have a homelitejacobsen 320 snowblower i replaced the primer bulb with one that has a single line running to it after it starts gas starts squrting out of the hole on the primer bulb how do i stop this

You need a "wet" primer bulb for the Jacobsen / Homelite snowblowers. A wet primer actually pumps gas - not air - a primer bulb with a hole in it was designed to pump air.

If you need a "wet" primer bulb email me and I will tell you where to get one for around $10 - basscatt at hotmail dot com
