Hi there , if you can't find a wheel kit , you can make yourself one with wheels of an old bike for kids or something like that . That's what i did and it didn't cost me money. good luck !

Why do i only have 94 volt output on dewalt generator 2900 watt

It should change with the load, the more load you put on the line the magnetic field increases with the amperage and the gen will produce more output until its rating is reached. This happens especially if it has been sitting a long time.

No engine speed change under load

Sounds like the governor is not adjusted right or is broken internally. With the engine off make sure the throttle in the carburetor is full speed and unloosen the bolt that holds the governor arm on the shaft and make sure the shaft is turned the same way the carburetor linkage moves to full speed and tighten the bolt.

I have a dewalt dg2900 generator. at normal running speeds the generator is putting out 2volts ac, but if you push the governor linkage over and speed up the motor i can get it to 60 volts. is there any...

Does your motor run at the same RPMs that it did before? It sounds like your motor is running to slow to produce the 120V ac.

But it could also be that you have one or more diodes blown.

Since the generator is selling for $1,100.00 on several sites, make sure that you don't spend more for repair parts/labor than what you can replace it for.

Anything can be repaired, but some aren't economically repairable. So if you have to pay someone to work on your generator, it might be better to replace han repair.

Generator runs but wont idle up i change gas clean carb it will try to run when i turn circuit on?

Check the carb gaskets, the fuel bowl for dirt and float needle and seat. Bad gasket can cause loos of vacum and dirt can cause the float needle and float to get stuck.

Won't start, checked spark plug, turned engine switch on, checked fuel line.

make sure unit has oil.some of them have low oil switch which will not let it run or start usually if it has triggered the low oil switch to open you have to reset it manually by pushing it in.also check that you have turned on the fuel .

Only getting 4vac output on a DG2900 generator

You need to use a Voltmeter and go right to the Output Terminals on the Generator, Disconnect anything from them, and measure that Open Circuit Voltage. If it is OK there, then the conditioning circuitry AFTER that is faulty. BE CAREFUL.
