After a little research I discovered that Behringer has had problems in the past with there power supplys so I replaced the faulty one and so far the problem has been solved. Our local power company has been sending to much power to our church building and that is what caused to old power supply to burn out. We are still trying to get them to take care of their issues.

I got a behringer 3242x mixer without a power supply unit. which model can i use?

You need the correct rackmount psu, rated at 150 watts, I think it uses more than one rail volts so you can't use any old supply.

What is wrong with it?

FIlter capacitors in the positive supply are likely failing. These will be the larger metal cans- one may be bulging. Either way, one of them is shorting out after a certain voltage potential is achieved and causing your problem.

Replace the caps in both the positive and negative power supply sections and this should alleviate the issue. Match the working voltage rating, or even one step up in working voltage. yours are likely rated 25 volts, so a step to 35 volts would not pose an issue.

Behringer sx3242fx not working .i need circuit diagram .

Behringer will not release schematics unless you are an authorized service agent... however, sometimes you can make do with the few schematics floating around... What is the problem with the unit? They typically use a switching power supply and the schematics of those aree usually similar enough to repair them.

No. You said you can fix anything but I can't

Your posting here seems to be the middle of an existing conversation. I'd like to help, but I'll need a bit more info. Can you describe how you have this connected to the system please?

It seems a bit odd that a Solo indication would cut off all output as that is usually a feature to allow you to hear the channel without it being sent to the mix. Is there a solo option for the mains?

Any information that you can provide that details what happens and how you are connected would help. Also, is there a pattern at all for when this occurs? In other words, is this more likely to happen after the unit has been in use for a long time or less likely?

Thanks,
Dan
