Does anyone have low volume during playback on the toshiba camileo x100?

you can make the audio louder. see about raising the volume and then when playback make sure it's not too loud. If that doesn't work then the cameras is set low in the audio. see manufacturer if they have a solution. or in the camera see if there is a volume control, maybe it's set low.

How to Play With Bluetooth WMP files

Bluetooth is very common in cell phone headsets and wireless keyboards and mice. It is a low power, moderate, high speed wireless communication protocol that is fast enough to transport high quality audio signal. If you have a computer with Bluetooth, you can order your audio to a Bluetooth headset or a set of speakers, allowing you to listen to music and movies played in Windows Media Player anywhere within 30 meters of the your computer.

1. Place the Bluetooth device in pairing mode. Speakers and Bluetooth headsets generally have a "Connect" button somewhere discreet; see the product manual for specific instructions on how to put it in the "discovery" mode.

2. Click on "Devices and Printers" computer "Start" menu and click the "Add Device" button in the window that opens.

3. Select the Bluetooth device in the list and enter your password security. Most devices use "0000" as a default password.

4. Right-click the volume control on the lower right corner of the Windows taskbar and select "Playback Devices".

5. Click on the Bluetooth device on the "View" tab and click on "Default". The Bluetooth device is now the primary playback device for computer audio.

6. Open WMP and play the file you want. The audio must be played through a Bluetooth device.
Vivitar itwist610dvr won't save files to my sd card

Unless you've found a VERY rare 4GB SD card, your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. The 610 will not work with SDHC cards. Try using an SD card, 2GB and smaller.

I downloaded a .msf file from a Sony audio recorder. Please advice how I could playback this audio .msf file.

Hi!

It seems like you've downloaded the wrong files...
As mentioned at Sony's FAQ:
MSGLIST.MSF is a file that contains information such as the order of folders, playback order of audio files and recording date and time. If user connects the recorder to the computer, the MSGLIST.MSF files are displayed but do not delete or change these files. If these files are operated, the saved files may be broken or the recorder may not work correctly.

The right way to copy your recordings is explained here...

If you are satisfied, rate my solution with 4 "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Good luck and Best regards,
Pelu.

Won't playback or transcribe

2 things to check:
1. is the speechmike set as default playback device: go to Control Panel--> Sounds and Audio Devices; and in the opening window, go under the Audio tab; in the Sound Playback, the default device should be set to SpeecMike II if you want the sound to come out of the SpeechMike.
2. Playback volumes: still in the same tab, click the Volume button of the default device; it opens a set of volume controls; you need to ensure that for the WAVE, and Speaker (or Volume Control), the Mute box isn't ticked; you also want to set this volume to something not equal to zero (i.e. move the cursor up to at least 1/3 of the level).

I hope this helps.

Taking recordings from mixing desk

As the Fastrack can only receive one audio signal at a time you would have to record each track seperatly into Pro Tools.

I'm guessing your mixer is a multitrack recorder.

Solo track 1 on the multitracker and playback from there into the Fastrack, with track 1 on Pro Tools set to record. Repeat this for each or your tracks on the multitracker.

When you've finished you'll need to align all the tracks in Pro Tools so they all playback in time with each other.
